Following the Mental Health and Wellbeing survey pupils and parents were asked to complete, Mount Carmel created bespoke workshops that take into account the specific areas of need amongst our pupils and school community.

These sessions took place during the morning of the last day before the Easter break and pupils when pupils were off timetable working with their form tutors reflecting on areas linked to Stress; Anxiety; Bereavement; Sleep and Body Image.

We understand that some topic areas are of a sensitive nature, but rest assured the resources provided to facilitate this have been well developed, and we anticipate the pupils will get a lot out of the day. Once the sessions were concluded, the pupils were asked again to complete a post session survey.

The workshops were organised by Mr Khan, Mount Carmel Assistant Curriculum Leader of Religious Education, PSHCE and RSE.
