Year 9 pupils were involved in an RSE drop down day, focussing on themes linked to the dangers and consequences of sexting, using a short film provided by TenTen Resources and then a second session delivered by PSHCE/RE staff looking at the law on sexting, and what impact and consequences it can have for those involved especially if the images get leaked and passed around.

The pupils completed a variety of tasks, e.g., completing discussions, group work and moments for self-reflection. The pupils worked well and achieved the intending outcomes of the session which was looking at the dangers of sexting and the wider emotional/mental toll it can have if 'consent' is not freely given. This reflects the work that pupils have been looking at in lessons.
