Mount Carmel had a PSHCE focus day for Year groups 7-10, looking at the problems and dangers of Radicalisation and its conflicts with British Values. 

The workshops were delivered throughout the day by four members of the Manchester based, 'Odd Arts charity'. They were interactive and involved a mix of question and answer sessions and live theatre. Assistant Curriculum Leader for Religious Education Mr Khan commented "These sessions aimed to help our pupils understand what Radicalisation is, what the triggers of radicalisation are and who can be affected by it. It was very hard hitting and our pupils thoroughly engaged with them.”
