Mount Carmel staff dressed themselves as adjectives for World Book Day 2020 and asked pupils to work out what adjective they were. Lottie, our school therapy dog also got dressed up for the occasion!

The adjectives included; incredible, magical, flowery, funny, fierce, villainous, smart, sunny, minted and strong.

Throughout the day a short story by Roald Dahl called 'The Landlady' was read section by section in lessons to all pupils.   

The English department arranged the day and the school library held a range of competitions including a photographic quiz to guess the member of staff reading the book.
