We were pleased to welcome the Hyndburn Catholic Partnership of schools to Mount Carmel for our annual Chaplaincy GIFT Team Day.
This is always a fantastic event, filled with faith, prayer and a commitment to action. GIFT Teams and staff from St. Mary's Clayton-le-Moors, St. Mary's Oswaldtwistle, Sacred Heart, St. Oswald's, St. Anne's and St. Joseph's and Mount Carmel joined to reflect on our roles as Servant Leaders, following the example of Christ in the way we treat each other, locally, nationally and globally.
The day culminated with an inspirational and vibrant Celebration of the Word, the children spent the day reflecting on how we can serve others in our communities and how we can make the world a more peaceful and just place.
