Mount Carmel’s newly appointed anti-bullying ambassadors began their training through Princess Diana’s charity ‘The Diana Award.’ Over 60 fantastic pupils applied for 19 positions and our first cohort spent their morning learning about the various types of bullying behaviour, how to tackle this behaviour responsibly and how to raise the profile of the anti- bullying message in school. The pupils were fantastic and were complimented by their trainer on their engagement, behaviour and confidence when getting involved in the activities.
Despite the training taking place online due to Covid restrictions, pupils found the opportunity beneficial and are ready to start promoting the anti- bullying message at MC.
