We were delighted to award the 'Logan Wood Trophy' in 2021 to Year 8 pupil Aamina.
Aamina has very recently begun using a stick to help with her visual impairment. She has also worked very hard throughout lockdown learning braille and has even taught her little sister how to read it.
This very special award is presented to a Mount Carmel pupil from Key Stage 3 (Years 7, 8 and 9) who has achieved great things despite being faced with adversity.
