In usual Mount Carmel style we said Happy Christmas to our pupils with lots of rewards and treats.
During extended form time on the last day, after watching the Christmas liturgy, prizes were given to pupils who had the best attendance in each year group. These pupils names were put into a draw and 5 names were drawn to take part in a 'game show' streamed live via Microsoft Teams in each classroom.
Deputy Headteacher Mr Dugdale hosted the game show which involved pupils making a choice of which balloon to pop to reveal their prize. The top prize was £50 but some balloons revealed no prize. These disappointed pupils were given another chance to have a go and luckily won that second time around!
As the pupils were leaving Father Christmas made another appearance and handed out selection boxes to every pupil in school, at their year group bubble exits. For some reason nobody could find our Headteacher Mr Bowers during this time!
We wish all our families a very Happy and Holy Christmas.
