The newly formed Wellbeing team had their first meeting and were introduced to Steve Burns from “Think Forward”. In this session, the pupils discussed what is meant by Wellbeing, and looked at the 5 steps to wellbeing i.e. Connect, Be active, Take notice, Learn and Give. 

The pupils then shared their own experiences and were asked to consider what they do in their own time to increase their wellbeing and what they would do if they had been issued with a gift of up to £50. 

The sessions are being held weekly and will commence with providing the pupils with feedback from the wellbeing survey that was sent out to staff and pupils during lockdown and deciding their agreed targets and objectives of their project.
