Year 7 pupil Cara W. was commended with The High Sheriff of Lancashire's Young Citizen Award for being courageous and brave when she unfortunately fell victim to a man showing her inappropriate images on his mobile phone.
Cara acted fast and found a safe place, she then reported it to school the next day with such a detailed account of the perpetrator that they were able to find and apprehend him the same day.
Well done Cara.
