On Friday 5th January 2025, the Mount Carmel community gathered for the First Friday Mass, celebrated by Fr. Francis. During this Mass, Fr. Francis officially launched the Jubilee Year 2025, marking a special year of celebration and reflection for our school. The Mass was also attended by representatives from the Form Chaplaincy, who joined in this important occasion.

A Jubilee Year is a time set apart for the renewal of faith, deepening of spiritual life, and a focus on community. It is a moment to reflect on God's blessings and to look forward to the future with hope and commitment.

Throughout 2025, we will hold a series of events to celebrate this Jubilee Year, leading up to November when we will receive the Anchor, a symbol that is travelling around the Diocese. This will be a significant occasion in our year-long celebrations.

Additionally, we formally introduced Miss Bowers as the new Chaplaincy Co-ordinator, who will play a key role in supporting our faith journey over the coming months.

We look forward to this special year and the opportunities it will bring for our school community.
