Mount Carmel held their annual in-house Charm Talent Show to select the act going forward to the inter-school competition.
There were eight finalists ranging from Years 8-11. For some it was their first time entering the competition and for others, their third time.
The contestants performed a wide range of song and dance in front of a Year 7 audience with a panel of staff judges commenting on all performances before deciding the winner who would go on to represent MC at the Civic Theatre, competing against other local high schools.
The winner was Year 11 pupil Emily McNaught who sang a song from the new Andrew Lloyd Webber musical 'Cinderella'.
Miss Bell commented "It never ceases to amaze me how much talent we have at Mount Carmel, some of our pupils would not look out of place on a West Stage!"
