Training took place for the new prefect team. These specially selected Year 10 pupils begin their duties right away as the current prefect team focus on their GCSE exams. The training was delivered by pastoral leaders Miss Javaid and Mrs Marcinkowski.
Sessions included teamwork activities, getting to know each other and being faced with real life scenarios. The prefects discussed how they would handle these types of situations within their prefect role. They also brainstormed what the qualities of a good prefect were and ways to deal with difficult situations.
At the end of the training pupils were given their prefect ties and badges.
