Year 10 pupils were involved in workshops run by Yasmin and Leanne, (HARV - Hyndburn and Ribble Valley- Domestic Violence Team), and were looking at Online Behaviours. In these sessions, pupils were involved in a selection of activities that encouraged plenty of discussion about the positives and negatives of social media, and open and honest discussions about how young people may behave online and why.
Pupils were reminded of the importance of online safety, and how to identify harmful and unsafe behaviours that many young people often engage in. All in all, the pupils found the sessions engaging, effective and were very complimentary about the content that was covered. The pupils were all very mature and very respectful, and this was demonstrated throughout the day.
