This week, as part of their remote learning in PSHCE, pupils in Years 7-10 have been looking at the tragic events linked to George Floyd's death, and the rise of the Black Lives Matter Movement.
We believe that every person in our school, no matter the colour of their skin, is important and makes our community what it is! That being said, Mount Carmel stands with the BLM movement, as we believe that all lives can't matter, until Black Lives Matter.
Here is some of the incredible work our pupils have created in solidarity with the movement, and we can only hope that these students inspire our community to reject racism, and help us to create a more equal society for everybody.
