This week is Inter-Faith week at Mount Carmel with a theme of 'Charity and the Environment'.

Year 8 pupils have completed some work based on the Langar in the Sikh Faith. They have looked at ways to be selfless and have been working in groups producing TV adverts, posters and speeches. Here is a selection of some of their work.

Langar is the term used in Sikhism for the community kitchen in a Gurdwara where a free meal is served to all the visitors, without distinction of religion, caste, gender, economic status or ethnicity.
