We said farewell and thank you to two retiring members of the Mount Carmel family today.
Mr David Rushton is retiring as Chair of Governors after 8 years on the governing body of the school with 4 of those years as chair. Mr Bowers said how much he had enjoyed working with David and how his leadership and support had helped grow Mount Carmel to the level we are currently at.
David commented that Mount Carmel was a great community with a wonderful staff who all worked incredibly hard. He thanked everyone for their support, smiles and warmth of welcome.
We also said farewell to Sue Case our receptionist who is retiring after 14 years at M.C. Her manager Mrs Brewster thanked her for all her hard work at the school and then a special video message was sent from former office manager Julie Harris who retired a year ago.
