World Earth Day 2025 is on April 22nd and the theme is "Our Power Our Planet".  

Mount Carmel pupils attended assemblies and learnt about climate change and how our behaviours are having a negative impact on our environment. 

As stewards of the planet, it is our responsibility to change the way we do things so that we can leave the world in a better state for our children and grandchildren.  

Mr Blair asked the pupils to think about and make an Earth Day pledge to start positive changes now and to show he is 'walking the walk' (and not just the talking the talk), he has pledged to walk to and from work in aid of Cancer Research on Friday 13th June 2025, a total distance of 27.86 miles.
