CONGRATULATIONS to Kobe - he did it!
The Year 8 Mount Carmel pupil is the new British Speed Bike Racing Champion.
Kobe won all three of his races in style at the Rich Energy British Mini Bikes GP190 Championship despite very tricky, wet conditions at the Clay Pigeon Raceway, Dorchester competing with some of the best riders in the country.
Kobe will be awarded his championship trophy at the end of January at an event in Peterborough.
Going forward now Kobe will be making a step up in his racing career, he now has a Yamaha R3 which is world super sport specification bike which he will hopefully be racing out in Spain and the USA.
The photos below were taken on the race day. One shows Kobe racing BSB and the Isle of Man TT winner Peter Hickman (the fastest man in the world on two wheels!) he is also pictured with Peter with his championship winning helmet that he signed for Kobe.
