Mount Carmel P.E. department have had a busy half term.

CROSS COUNTRY

Thirty one pupils from across the year groups were selected to represent Mount Carmel at the Hyndburn & Ribble Valley district cross country championships at Wilsons Playing field.

They all performed really well and were a credit to themselves and the school. Congratulations to Lexi and Theo who go on to represent the district at the county championship. 

FOOTBALL

Year 10 football team travelled to Liverpool in the English Schools Cup and lost 4-3. The game could have gone either way and the team were excellent. Theo was man of the match. 

Mount Carmel Year 9 football team played Accrington Academy and narrowly lost 3-2. They all played well, Kade scored the pick of the goals with a great free kick.
