Sixty one Year 10 and Year 11 Mount Carmel pupils went on a thought provoking, emotional and educational four day trip to Krakow, Poland.
Visits were made to Auschwitz Concentration Camp, Wieliczka Salt Mine and Schindler’s Factory Museum. Cover Supervisor Miss Taylor who organised the trip said “The pupils were shocked to hear the history of the area. It is a very humbling, moving place and our pupils showed the greatest respect to the memory of all those lives lost. They also had some leisure time in Krakow where they could experience the culture of the country.”
