Mount Carmel Year 9 pupil Bilal become the U15 European Boxing Champion competing recently in Trabzon, Turkey. He had 4 fights along the way against opponents from Poland, Azerbaijan, Austria and Ukraine.
Bilal boxed a year above his age category and lost just one round throughout the tournament at the weight of 75kg, despite training as a 70kg fighter.
