On Thursday 15th October, 10 Mount Carmel pupils walked down to Accrington Library for the inaugural Lancashire Book of the Year Workshop.
We were talked through the process, discussed what makes a good story and then we practised how we would vote for our favourite books. We were then given 29 books that we will read over the coming weeks - all leading to us voting for our favourite in the end.
