Mount Carmel staff said 'Farewell' to Year 11 pupils on Wednesday 17th June 2026.

Pastoral Leaders Miss Aldis and Mr Ellerton organised a fantastic and very emotional send off for them with a special leaver's assembly.

Form tutors spoke with great emotion and amusement about their form pupils, many of whom have been with them for five years! 

Miss Aldis gave a heartfelt message to the year group which reduced many pupils to tears. 

A farewell video featuring staff was played and a photo slideshow displaying the most embarrassing photos that could be found from the past five years was shown to the Year 11's. 

Headteacher Mr Bowers concluded with a special goodwill message and reminder that we will always be here for them if needed.

Year 11's then signed each others shirts with lots of messages for each other.

All at M.C. wish this year group lots of love and very best wishes for their next step in life.
