The annual inter-school CHARM Awards Evening will soon be taking place so in preparation Mount Carmel have nominated pupil representatives in each of the categories and selected which pupils who will go on to represent Mount Carmel in the competition.

Here are the nominations;

  • Young Carer Award - Aisha H. Year 9
  • Sport Award - Sophia M. Year 8
  • Young Voice - Isla R. - Year 8
  • Inspiration Award - Cailub C. Year 9

The Talent Award nomination was selected during a talent show at Mount Carmel in front of a panel of judges and an audience of Year 7 pupils. 

The winners and going forward to the inter-school final were the duo act Jensen W. & Holly McB. Congratulations to them and well done to everyone who entered. The judges explained to the contestants how difficult it had been to decide on the winning act.

The judges were Miss Javaid, Miss Bell, Mrs Heys and Gayle Knight.
