Mount Carmel extra curricular ECO group and Art Therapy group spent many weeks making decorations for 2 Christmas trees at the Tree Festival.
The Art group chose to have a white theme and made all their decorations out of white paper and card including snowflakes, angels and paper chains.
The ECO group made decorations out of rubbish such as egg cartons, they also made paper chains out of recycled paper and they decorated wood slices.
The trees look wonderful and are part of a display of almost 50 Christmas trees in St. James' Church in Accrington. The festival is open on Saturday and Sunday for 2 weekends; 7th/8th and 14th/15th December.
Mount Carmel choir will also be singing between 11.00 - 12.30pm on Sunday 8th December. Please come along to listen to their beautiful voices and look at the trees.
