The Crazy for Science inter-primary quiz took place hosted by Mount Carmel science department.
Fourteen teams of 4 pupils from seven schools competed with approx 80 family and primary staff coming along to support them.
The quiz consisted of exciting practical challenges including balloon weight and mass experiments, a reflection challenge and quiz rounds.
Mount Carmel pupils assisted and were great ambassadors for the school during the course of the evening and Mount Carmel PTFA served refreshments to the visitors. An online parents quiz and a raffle also took place.
The Crazy for Science winners for 2024 were Hippings and they were presented with the prestigious trophy, certificates, a microscope for their school and chocolates.
The team from St. Nicholas came in second place with Green Haworth coming in third place.
