A group of Mount Carmel pupils took part in a Panathalon Challenge tenpin bowling event.
Panathalon is a charity set up to provide opportunities for SEND pupils to represent their schools, this is a national pathway event and leads to both regional and national finals!
Mrs Lowe who accompanied the pupils commented "The pupils were AMAZING, from Edan and Sienna who had NEVER bowled before, Connor who was determined to get a spare or a strike and was summoning his 'zen' to achieve it, Lexi who was proud and emotional to be representing her school, to Jack and Stephen who were clearly well trained and very good!"
"It was a pleasure to see them dancing and singing to the disco music. We didn't win the event, but they all got a certificate and an amazing medal for their efforts to be awarded in assembly."
