As we approach the end of our Advent journey, we considered the Light of the World arriving in to the world; the festival of Christmas, which we celebrate on Monday. We remember that God Himself chose to live amongst us as a helpless child, born into poverty and humble surroundings. He did this to show us the way to salvation.
All pupils participated in a Christmas Liturgy today, led by teacher of RE, Mr Leybourne, Curriculum Leader of Music, Miss Javaid and the school choir. We are called to ask who God wants us to be, as we take a step forward in our faith journey. As the late Pope Benedict XVI said, “Each of us is willed. Each of us is necessary.”
