Mount Carmel always make a big occasion of the start of the season of Advent.
We mark this countdown to Christmas with the lighting of the Advent Wreath and a beautiful liturgy, led by our pupils chaplaincy team and choir, along with Ms Javaid and Mr Davies.
Advent is certainly a beautiful time and a countdown to a wonderful festival but we also remember that it is a time in the liturgical year when we welcome the start of the Paschal Mystery and also remember to be the best version of ourselves, ready and waiting for Christ.
As we journey through Advent, we will remember the less fortunate with our charity work, conflict with our prayer and kindness with our peers.
