On Ascension Day, we celebrate Christ ascending to His Father in Heaven with the promise that He will one day return. On this Holy Day of Obligation, 30 pupils from Years 9 and 10 (including the newly appointed Senior Prefect Team) joined with St Mary's, St Oswald's and Sacred Heart at St Mary's Church, Oswaldtwistle. Fr O'Brien reminded us that when Christ returned to Heaven, he left us with the Mission to be Christ in the world in what we think, say and do. It was a really joyful, beautiful Mass.

All pupils are going to Ascension Day liturgies during assemblies to mark this important Feast of the Church.
