On Fri 27 January, Mount Carmel Year 9 pupils and their families were given the opportunity to take part in Take Your Child To Work Day, and go with their parents to their workplace for the day.

Fifty six pupils took part, and worked in a variety of exciting placements; from engineering to primary schools, roofers to caterers, and even the grounds crew at Burnley FC's Turf Moor!

Students gained valuable experience about what a day in the workplace can look like, and a taster for their own Work Experience Week next year.
