Lent liturgies took place this week at Mount Carmel for all pupils led by Mr Davies, Curriculum Leader for R.E. and Chaplaincy. Our school choir sang beautifully during the liturgy and were led by Miss Javaid.
Later in the week we replaced First Friday Mass with an Ash 'Thursday' Mass! This was celebrated by Fr. Francis who also blessed and gave sacramental ashes to all pupils and staff in attendance.
Mr Davies commented that the pupils who attended Mass showed great respect and participated beautifully.
