Mount Carmel R.C. High School are delighted to be celebrating the National Numeracy Day on 19 May to help the community feel confident with numbers!
To help promote Numeracy and the love of numbers, we are asking our school community (parents, grandparents as well as pupils) to tell us how Numeracy plays a role in your job, hobby, home, life, etc.
Pupils will be given a challenge to complete at home, they can choose any of the following options:
- Make/Bake something using a recipe and method.
- Make and sing a Rap song involving Math or Numbers!
- Dance to a song and explain the steps or method of the dance.
We ask that any videos or photographs of the challenges be emailed to fmakda@mountcarmelhigh.lancs.sch.uk
