The Good Friday Stations of the Cross walk to the top of The Coppice in Accrington took place in glorious sunshine. This inter-denominational prayer event is organised by the Knights of St. Columba and students from the two faith High Schools in the town; Mount Carmel Roman Catholic and St. Christopher’s Church of England read stations of the cross prayers along the path to the summit of the Coppice in Accrington. Over 150 people attended this event with Rev. Ian Endicott from St. Paul’s in Accrington beginning the service with a prayer. At the summit all the pupil readers gathered together around the cross for the final reading and hymn. Thank you to our senior prefects who attended and all the families who supported the event.
