Parent Teacher and Friends Association
We offer a presence at various events such as Open Evenings, Feeder Primary Roadshows, New Intake Evenings and Primary School Fun Days, in order to be available to answer any queries or concerns that other parents might have about life at Mount Carmel. We also feel it is important to let our young people see that we are interested in their school life and that home-school partnerships are an important part of their success and happiness. The PTFA’s aim is to break down any barriers that may potentially exist and empower parents to become proactive in their child’s educational life.
These meetings are the ideal opportunity to have a ‘voice’ in school, any suggestions for schemes or improvements are welcomed and discussed. All ideas and comments are listened to and wherever possible actioned upon.
We don’t expect you to commit to any great lengths of your valuable time, our meetings usually commence at 6pm and generally last about an hour, just once every half term.
Please consider coming along to our next meeting, we will genuinely welcome you.
